The INN8 Investment Platform is constantly evolving to make adviser and client journeys simpler, clearer and more efficient. From onboarding and reporting improvements to smarter integrations and automated workflows, these updates are focused on what matters most in practice: clarity, control and confidence.
As an adviser, you can now view your total local Assets Under Management (AUM) by clicking on My Business from your Home Page.
01
You will be able to see your total local INN8 Investment Platform Assets Under Management on the dashboard.
02
The values will be based on the totals as at the end of the previous business day and will exclude all unpriced transactions.
03
The percentage movement indicator will be green for an increase in total local AUM and red for a decrease.
04
You will now be able to download a book report directly from the dashboard. The total AUM reflected in the downloaded book report will match the value displayed on the AUM tile.
What this means for you:
An immediate view of daily business movement, helping you track growth and monitor your practice more effectively.
The INN8 Investment Proposal now displays the investment risk profile directly within the proposal document, calculated using a weighted approach based on the underlying asset allocation of the selected funds.
01
Investment risk profiles now display directly on the Investment Proposal to support clearer client discussions and improved alignment between portfolio construction and investor risk appetite.
02
The displayed risk profile is calculated using the underlying asset allocation of the selected funds or model portfolios.
What this means for you:
Improved visibility, clearer investment conversations and greater confidence during proposal discussions with clients.
We have automated the management of ongoing advice fee renewals for underwritten Retirement Annuity transfers in line with Pension Funds Act requirements. The act stipulates that if an underwritten retirement annuity is transferred to another retirement annuity, the adviser needs to renew their ongoing fee annually. The enhancement ensures advisers receive renewal reminders ahead of time, while improving compliance management across the platform.
01
Advisers will receive automated notifications by email two months before a renewal is due.
02
Quick Quote, New Business and Top-Up journeys will indicate where ongoing fee renewal requirements may apply.
03
Upcoming renewal dates will appear directly within the adviser calendar on the INN8 web platform. You can download this from the calendar and import this report into your own personal calendar.
04
Where fees are not renewed in time, the ongoing fee will automatically adjust to 0% as required by the Act. Advisers can download a Section 14 RA Fee Renewals report by clicking on View Reports once logged in. This report will display all client accounts requiring fee renewals including the fee renewal date it is required by.
The Manage Adviser Fee journey will continue to allow advisers to amend ongoing fees at any point during the year. The new ongoing fee is effective immediately.
What this means for you:
Less manual tracking, improved compliance support and better visibility of upcoming fee renewal obligations.
Self-registration gives advisers and clients faster, simpler access to the INN8 Investment Platform without waiting for system-generated activation emails.
The new “Register” option guides users based on their current profile and onboarding status.
01
If a client has not yet accepted the Terms and Conditions, when a client clicks on the Register button from our Home Page, an email is sent to the client with their unique registration link.
02
Where a client has received their activation email, the adviser on record will immediately receive an email notifying them that we've sent this to their client, with steps on what needs to be done to successfully complete their registration on the INN8 Investment Platform.
03
Clients need to accept the INN8 Investment Platform terms and conditions once, even where an adviser is creating an additional investment account for a client. The new account is linked automatically to the current online account, and the client can proceed to Log in normally. Where a client is an authorised online user for a legal entity or a minor, the same log in details can be used to accept the terms and conditions.
04
Where onboarding or approval processes are still underway, clients will receive an email confirming that the application is still being processed. The activation email will be sent as soon as the verification processes are complete.
Important note:
For the smoothest experience, please ensure the correct client email address has been captured on the INN8 Investment Platform.
What this means for you:
Faster client access, fewer delays and reduced follow-up on activation emails.
The INN8 rebalancing tool is now fully functional and available on the Literature Hub. The tool helps advisers structure and review portfolio rebalancing decisions more efficiently before submitting instructions.
01
View current versus target asset allocations in a single view.
02
See the required buy and sell amounts needed to achieve the target allocation.
03
The tool mirrors the logic used in the Manage Assets journey to support cleaner instruction submission.
The rebalancing tool can also assist with CGT analysis where applicable.
What this means for you:
Better visibility into portfolio changes with a more efficient rebalancing process.
The Adviser Book Report on the INN8 Investment Platform has been aligned to reflect the structure advisers are familiar with from the STANLIB LISP. This enhancement supports continuity, visibility and easier navigation during the Elevate programme. View more info
We are introducing reCAPTCHA on the INN8 registration page to enhance the security of the platform further.
We will continuously look at ways to ensure the safety and security of personal details on our platform and introduce measures where needed.
You can now capture your own reference number when creating an Investment Proposal through the Quick Quote, New Business and Top-up journeys.
The reference number is limited to 30 characters and will display on the generated Investment Proposal. You will also be able to view this reference number when tracking completed Quick Quotes via the Instructions Tracker.
You can now add bespoke commentary to an Investment Proposal during the Quick Quote, New Business and Top-up journeys.
Commentary is limited to 3 000 characters, aligned to the Instruction Confirmation commentary functionality.
To create a cleaner and easier-to-explain Investment Proposal, platform administration and adviser fees will now display as percentages only.
The Rand value associated with these fees has been removed from the Proposal document to support clearer client conversations and a more streamlined presentation.
These updates are incremental, deliberate and focused on what matters in practice: clarity, control and confidence.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We will keep refining, improving and building INN8 around you.
Purpose built. Adviser inspired.
