Ninety One
Duane is a portfolio manager in Ninety One’s Quality investment team and Head of South Africa Quality. He manages South African absolute returns portfolios, including customized medical scheme portfolios, a global multi asset portfolio and is co-portfolio manager of the Nedgroup Investments Rainmaker Fund. Prior to joining the firm, Duane was Head of SA Equities at Coronation Fund Managers. He also managed absolute return strategies, including co-portfolio management of the Coronation Balanced Defensive Fund. Before that, he was a manager in the Transaction Advisory Services division of Ernst & Young in New York, involved primarily in financial due diligence advisory services on mergers and acquisitions. Duane holds a Bachelor of Commerce Bachelor degree from University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Accounting) degree from the University of Natal. He is a Chartered Accountant and member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a CFA® Charterholder.

Marc joined PSG in May 2025 as a fund manager. Prior to joining PSG, Marc held various roles at firms both in South Africa and abroad, including as analyst, portfolio manager, head of research and chief investment officer.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
INN8 INVEST COMPETITION (“Competition”)
The Competition is promoted and owned by INN8 Invest, a division of STANLIB Wealth Management (Pty) Ltd (the “Promoter”). Any reference to we, us, or our refers to the promoter and includes its directors, employees, agents and service providers.
By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. DURATION
The Competition will run on the day of the INN8 Invest conference and will close at 15:00 on the event day. No entries submitted after the closing time will be considered.
2. WHO MAY ENTER
2.1 The Competition is only open to:
2.1.1 Registered attendees of the INN8 Invest conference;
2.1.2 Persons who are 18 (eighteen) years or older;
2.1.3 Persons who are resident in South Africa; and
2.1.4 Persons with a public LinkedIn profile.
2.2 The Competition is not open to employees, directors, or immediate family members (child, parent, or spouse) of the Promoter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To enter the Competition an eligible participant must, during the Competition period:
3.1.1 follow the INN8 Invest LinkedIn page;
3.1.2 publish a LinkedIn post sharing one key insight or takeaway from the conference relating to The Synergy of Investment Success;
3.1.3 include either a photo from the conference or a reference to a conference speaker;
3.1.4 tag the INN8 Invest LinkedIn page in the post;
3.1.5 use the official competition hashtag #InvestmentSynergy (and any additional event hashtags communicated at the conference).
3.2 Once you've posted your entry, comment “Synergy” below so we can easily track your submission.
3.3 Each participant may submit multiple entries
3.4 Entries must be posted during the event day and before the closing time to be valid.
3.5 The Promoter’s records and LinkedIn hashtag tracking will be the sole source of validation of entries.
4. PRIZE
4.1 Two winners will receive a R2000 dining experience each for two at TANG (the "Prize").
4.2 The Prize is not transferable, not negotiable and may not be exchanged for cash.
4.3 Any costs not expressly included in the Prize description remain the responsibility of the winner. 5. WINNER SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT
5.1 The winner will be selected by means of an online random selection generator, using a third-party tool, from all valid entries received during the Competition period
5.2 The output generated by the third-party tool is final and conclusive, and no correspondence, appeals, challenges or negotiations will be entered into in respect of the Competition, the selection of the winner, the allocation of the Prize, or any matter arising therefrom.
5.3 The winner will be announced at the end of the conference.
5.4 If the winner cannot be contacted or does not accept the Prize, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
6. PUBLICITY
6.1 By entering the Competition, the winner consents to the use of their name and LinkedIn post for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Competition.
6.2 The winner may decline to participate in further promotional activities by notifying us in writing.
7. PERSONAL INFORMATION
7.1 Protecting the privacy, confidentiality and security of your personal information is important to us, and we will process personal information in accordance with our Data and Information Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
7.2 Personal information will be used solely for administering the Competition, awarding the Prize, and, in the case of the winner, for Competition-related promotional purposes as contemplated in clause 6.
7.3 For more information on how we process your personal information and the rights you have in this regard, please refer to our Privacy and Security Statement available on https://stanlib.com/privacy-security/. If you do not agree to the processing of your personal information as set out above, please do not enter the Competition.
8. GENERAL
8.1 The Competition will be conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
8.2 We reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend the Competition at any time.
8.3 We assume no liability for any technical failures, lost entries, or any loss, harm or damage arising from participation in the Competition or use of the Prize.
8.4 Where relevant, if the winner does not accept the Prize, if an entry is not valid for whatever reason, if an entrant has breached these Terms, if a person renounces the Prize or we deem such person to have renounced the Prize, we reserve the right to declare the Prize forfeited and/or to choose a new Prize winner.
8.5 Participants indemnify the Promoter against any claims arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance of the Prize
8.6 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
8.7 If required by the Minister of Trade and Industry, the National Consumer Commission or for whatever other reason, we will have the right to terminate this Competition with immediate effect and without notice of such termination. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights, which they may have against us and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature
